German computer games award

The German Computer Game Award (DCP) is the most highly endowed accolade for digital games in Germany. We have been accompanying the DCP for many years and were initially tasked with a comprehensive redesign of the Corporate Identity (CI) as well as the logo and the website. Over time, we have already successfully carried out the second relaunch for the German Computer Game Award.

A seamless transition from one content management system to another was implemented, while retaining the positive search engine rankings. The website was designed to allow for adaptive adjustments, enabling different presentations to be easily realized according to the various phases within an award year.

A prominent feature of the website is the registration and submission area, which is built upon relatively complex dependencies and rules. One of our primary tasks was to make this area user-friendly and comprehensible for the applicants. This was of paramount importance as the collected data is utilized, among other things, in the closed juror section, where jurors can review and discuss the games assigned to them.

Another significant aspect of the website is to provide information about the DCP for diverse audiences such as the press, interested public, publishers, developers, and more. Through a clear presentation of the winners and nominees from previous years, including detailed pages, the history of the award is vividly portrayed.
