The “Press Start: Games Startup Grant” funding program supports the establishment of new development studios within Germany’s gaming industry. Over 130 founders from across Germany are selected by a jury and receive an 18-month grant of 2,750 euros per month, as well as access to coaching, comprehensive educational resources, and networking programs.
We are pleased to have implemented the website for this program, funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM).
In record time, we developed an informational site for the funding program that also manages the entire application process. After creating a user account, applicants go through a multi-step form with conditional logic and upload capabilities. The entries are checked for completeness and can then be submitted.
In a custom backend tailored to the project, applications can be reviewed and evaluated. This enables staff and jurors to handle applicant data easily and intuitively.
